Overcoming Physical Barriers with Strength
Being physically challenged due to a polio attack in his early childhood, many would find excuses to be a burden to their family, whereas Rasel started to turn himself into an asset.
Growing up with physical conditions in Bangladesh is not easy. Because social perceptions and physical barriers both create constant hurdles for people like him. The societal perception and physical barriers created constant challenges for Rasel.
He was often left alone in school due to his circumstances. However, Rasel never allowed his physical limitations to hold him back. He made up his mind that whatever life throws at him, he will endure and never lose hope. Denying all odds, he focused on education, gaining a deep understanding of accounting, which later became his professional calling.
A Passionate Teacher Who Loved Teaching
Rasel spent his time before joining PriyoShop teaching students about financial numbers. His students liked his teaching ability and the way he dealt with life.
However, like many during the pandemic, Rasel faced unexpected challenges. Due to the lockdown, he lost his students. Then the second shock wave came, which was a shift in accounting syllabuses, and the loss of teaching opportunities hit him hard.
Despite his vast experience and love for teaching, Rasel had to make a tough decision to shift his career for the sake of financial stability and his family’s wellbeing.
