Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and documentation. This role will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to uphold and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test plans, test scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Conduct detailed software testing including regression, negative testing, and usability tests.
- Identify, analyze, and document issues related to functionality, performance, or user experience.
- Track software defects using bug tracking systems and communicate issues effectively to developers.
- Plan and manage test schedules in line with project timelines and scope.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on functionality, risks, and potential improvements.
- Review software documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
- Conduct compatibility testing across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Document testing procedures and maintain detailed records to ensure replicability and standard compliance.
- Monitor and report the status of bug resolutions and track overall test performance.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (B.Sc in CSE) from a recognized institution.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in QA testing, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
